Our Story
The Bollywood Tacos began in Oshawa in 2019 with one simple idea: bring together the bold flavours of Indian cuisine and the fun, familiar experience of Mexican street food.
Founded by Sri Lankan chef Rajeev Ganesan (RAJ), The Bollywood Tacos was inspired by his love for Indian spices, Mexican food and creating dishes that bring people together. With years of experience in the restaurant industry, Rajeev wanted to build something different food that felt exciting, comforting and full of flavour.
Our menu combines rich Indian inspired proteins such as butter chicken, paneer tikka, curry lamb and chana masala with tacos, burritos, bowls, nachos and quesadillas. Our signature soft naan tacos have become a customer favourite, offering a unique twist on two beloved cuisines.
We are not here to replace traditional Indian or Mexican food. We are here to celebrate both cultures by bringing their flavours together in our own creative way.
What started as a small, family run restaurant has grown through the support of our loyal customers and local community. Every meal is prepared with care, quality ingredients and the same passion that inspired us from the beginning.
